RVA Driving Academy

RVA Driving Academy and its teachers have served the Richmond area for over 20 years. Our mission is to deliver the number one consumer-rated commercial driver’s education program in the Metro Richmond area, utilizing a state-certified curriculum and instructors in a safe, considerate, and compassionate environment.


Our Services

We provide services for new drivers, both teens and adults, in the Richmond area. Services include classroom instruction, behind-the-wheel training, use of one of our vehicles for the DMV road skills test, and more. We now also offer the VA court-appointed driver improvement course and the 3 x Fail (Driver’s Manual) courses.  Links for these courses can be found at the top of our home page, in the ‘How Can We Help” section.

Teen Drivers

We offer a full range of services for new teen drivers to help them learn the essential skills to be successful. We offer everything from classroom instruction to behind-the-wheel training.

Adult Drivers

We provide a full range of services for new adult drivers, including classroom instruction, private behind-the-wheel sessions, and the use of our cars for your DMV road skills test.

Our Instructors

We pride ourselves on having the best instructors in the industry. Our instructors have over 100 years of combined experience teaching driver’s education.
